Events in Tents is a high-end event provider of
equipment for major festivals and concerts across South East QLD. We also
service private and corporate functions, trade Shows and the wedding industry.
We are focused on exceeding the expectations of our clients through our ability
to offer exceptional service and innovative solutions.

 

The work involves:

• Building and dismantling temporary structures
• Loading and unload trucks
• Delivering event stock from warehouse to site & return
• Distributing furniture and under hire across event sites
• Working within small and large teams

To be successful in these roles you must:‍

Hold a current MR class (or higher) truck Licence (For MR Truck
   driver role)

Be physically fit as this role is physically demanding and
   high intensity

Be able to work safely in any weather conditions, heat and cold

Show care, initiative, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a
   positive attitude.

Have the ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines whilst
   maintaining a high level of, energy and motivation

Have exceptional customer service skills and maintain professional
   presentation & communication.

Be punctual and reliable

Be able to work in a team environment

Be flexible with working hours, weekends & public holidays

Be able to demonstrate previous experience using basic power tools

Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence

Other desirable qualifications include:

• Forklift (lf) license, preferred but not essential.

• Ability to drive a manual vehicle.

• Construction induction (white card)

• Be able to demonstrate previous driving experience of 3 tonne
     trucks (for MR Truck driver roles)

• Immediate start.

• Temporary structure building experience (not essential)
